Biography

Christopher Newberry (Née Juan Cristóbal Newberry Retana) is a photographer and designer based in Twyford, near Winchester, Hampshire. He was born in Mexico City on 15.11.51 (a palindrome) and has lived in England since 1976 – Twyford since 1990. He studied Communication Science at the Universidad Ibero Americana in Mexico City. He has a spouse, two sons and two Border Collies. He is currently producing a book on the architecture of Winchester. He has exhibited in London and Winchester – The Tower Arts Centre, The Link Gallery and at "10 Days at the Laundry", organised by Winchester School of Art.
