A "localisation" adapts media to a particular locality, in terms of language and culture - computer games and CD ROMs, for example. While the software programming remains the same, the language and cultural references are changed. We have directed a number of localisations, translating and re-recording audio into Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German and Swedish. Most of our work has been for SDL in Maidenhead.

Comments

We were asked to embark on this project because of our knowledge of the software and of Spanish.
